2.1 Website and log files

Certain data is stored automatically for system administration, statistical, security or tracking purposes. These are

2.2 Tracking Pixel

Tracking pixels can be used on our website. Tracking pixels – including those from third parties whose services we use – are small, invisible images that are automatically retrieved when you visit our website. Counting pixels can be used to record the same information as in server log files.

By e-mail, your e-mail address, the content, the subject, the date of your e-mail and the contact details you have provided will be processed. Your details will be used to process your request and will be stored by us in the event of follow-up questions. We would like to point out that e-mails can be read or changed without authorization or detection during transmission. The spam filter can reject emails if they have been identified as spam by certain characteristics.

Google uses cookies, which are stored on your device and enable the website to be analyzed by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website will be transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. We have added the code “anonymizeIP” to Google Analytics. This ensures that all data is collected anonymously. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

Google evaluates the data collected on our behalf so that we can get an idea of the visits and user behavior on our website. This enables us to improve our services and the website content and design.

2.7 Facebook Pixel

Our website uses the visitor action pixel of Facebook Ireland Ltd, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland and Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA for conversion tracking; both together “Facebook”, whereby Facebook Ireland Ltd is responsible for the processing of personal data. Facebook Pixel makes it possible to track your behavior after you have been redirected to our website by clicking on a Facebook ad. The data collected is anonymous to us as the operator of this website.

We use Facebook Pixel to evaluate the effectiveness of Facebook ads for statistical and market research purposes and to optimize future advertising measures.

Your data will be processed by Facebook. A connection to your respective user profile is thus possible. Facebook may use the data collected for its own advertising purposes. This use of your data cannot be influenced by us as the website operator.

2.8 Google Tag Manager

We use the Google Tag Manager on our website. This collects data about user behavior on our website and forwards it to our analysis tools. Google Tag Manager has no access to data, it only collects it.

2.9 Matomo Analytics

We use the web analysis service software Matomo on our website(https://matomo.org), a service of the provider InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis Street, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand, (“Matomo”). Matomo can be used to create and evaluate pseudonymized user profiles. Cookies can be used for this purpose (see above for the term “cookie”). Among other things, cookies make it possible to recognize the Internet browser. The data collected using Matomo technology (including your pseudonymized IP address) is processed on our servers.

The information generated by the cookie in the pseudonymous user profile is not used to personally identify the visitor to this website and is not merged with personal data about the bearer of the pseudonym.

Matomo is used for statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes.

Matomo Analytics can be deactivated in your browser.

2.10 Google Web Fonts

We use so-called web fonts provided by Google on our website for the uniform display of fonts. When you access one of our pages, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly.

2.15 US Privacy User Signal Mechanism
